Momo is our talented surf camp manager,. He build the company up from scratch driven from his passion for surfing and making people happy. He is also an experienced and knowledgable surf instructor from nearby Paradise Valley.
Khalid
Surf Camp Manager and Boss Man, Khalid is dedicated to making sure your stay at Surf Star is as pleasant and comfortable as possible. He’s our resident ‘fixer’ and will do what he can to help you if you need anything. He’s a living Moroccan legend!
Hassan
Surf Instructor, Hassan is a quiet and steady presence on the water when he's not cracking jokes! Just what you need for your first time in intermediate waves! He’s here to help you advance and is keen to help you learn in a way that allows you to catch waves on your own.
Abdollah
Surf Instructor, Our resident comedian, Abdollah wants to make sure you’re having a great time on the waves. Remember surfing is about having fun! Beyond a good laugh, he’s keen to give you the advice you need to keep you catching waves. #thelegend
Mohamed
Photographer and Lead Musician, Mohamed abounds with the hospitality that Morocco is famous for. Always quick with a smile and a laugh, you’ll often find him on the beach snapping gripping shots of campers out on the waves. But Mohamed is a man of many talents, including being a very accomplished singer and musician. Don't miss him and the rest of our Surf Star Band around the firepit on the rooftop.
Ibrahim
Driver and Musician, Brahim - as he's known - is always shining with a smile and a warm greeting. Your'e likely to first meet him when you first arriving at Surf Star. But be sure to catch him in the evening on the rooftop terrace playing Berber guitar or drums.
Mohamed
Driver, With a steady hand and some awesome tunes, Mohamed will be sure to get you to the surfing beaches in style. Also, be sure to catch him in the waves – he’s got some sick moves!
Mohamed Ider
Driver, Don’t let his quiet demeanor deceive you, Ider is a capable driver and very friendly soul. He’ll make sure you get to surfing and back home safe and sound.
Soufian
Driver, Never with out a kind smile, you’ll see Soufyan wearing a lot of different hats at Surf Star, from driver, to photographer, to musician.
Lahcen
Head chef, Oh, the glorious food – one of the top highlights at Surf Star – all thanks to Lahcen and the team. He prepares traditional Moroccan cuisine like couscous and tagine, as well as catering to other dietary restrictions like vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free folks. He's is sure to keep you delightfully full during your stay here.
Brahim
Chef, As one of our Berber chefs, Brahim is happy to serve you with a smile … or help you find your favorite football team’s game on the TV. His wife is also a master with henna, so be sure to have a hand at that experience while you’re staying here.
Nordin
Chef and Musician, Helpful and friendly, Nordin makes sure all of your meals are perfectly to your liking. But his talents don’t end there! Be sure to check him out in the evenings on the rooftop terrace, he’s an accomplished Berber musician and great billy dancer!
Abdollah
Handyman, Abdollah is happy to help and can be seen helping the staff keep Surf Star running at top notch. Friendly, kind, and always with a bright smile on his face, he’s just happy to know you’re having a great time.

Chef and cleaning staff, Khadija wears many hats at Surf Star and a bright smile on her face! She’s happy to be of service in any way she can to ensure you’re enjoying your stay with us
