Hassan has been with us the longest here at Surf Star. Often leading the more experienced surfers out in the guiding group, he’s also a great teacher to beginners, ready to encourage with his cheeky grin!
How long have you worked at Surf Star?
– I’m not sure- 4 years I think

How long have you been surfing for? Where did you learn?
– a long time, but then i stopped because I had a different job in Agadir. But I started surfing very young
How would you describe your style of surfing?
– I like short boards but I do use a soft board to teach for safety

– Gabriel Medina, seriously
Which is your favourite surf spot in Morocco?
– I like Banana point. I go after work sometimes. But it depends on the waves – I find the best spot

What do you like about teaching people to surf?
– Because it’s nice to teach people new things
What do you like to do in your time off?
– Chilling out, relaxing, hang out at cafes, watch films. Parties on Friday nights!
